Antico Borgo Sanda was founded in 2001 by my mother, whose vision was to preserve the quiet elegance of our family home while welcoming travelers with sincerity and culture.
She shaped the philosophy of the Borgo: authentic hospitality, slow rhythms, and refined simplicity.

Today, I — Andrea Crillavi — continue her legacy.
After years working in luxury jewelry with brands such as Damiani, I returned to elevate Antico Borgo Sanda into one of the most distinctive boutique stays near Lake Maggiore: intimate, curated, adults-only, and deliberately unlike the crowded mainstream tourism in the area.
